  • Electrical Characteristics of the Panelboard (Main Distribution, Distribution, and Branch Circuit Panelboards). Power Calc PaK automatically calculates, and re-calculates for all changes, the electrical characteristics of the Panelboard including: main feeder conductor and conduit size, Panelboard ampacity, Panelboard overcurrent protection device (OCPD), main feeder voltage drop, and ground conductor electrode.

  • Electrical Characteristics of the Branch Circuits. Power Calc PaK automatically calculates, and re-calculates for all changes, the electrical characteristics of all branch circuits including: branch circuit conductor and conduit size, branch circuit ampacity, branch circuit overcurrent protection device (OCPD), and branch circuit voltage drop, and branch circuit ground conductor.

  • Electrical Characteristics of Building Equipment. Power Calc PaK automatically calculates, and re-calculates for all changes, the electrical characteristics of the building equipment including: electrical characteristics of the branch circuits (paragraph above), size of the overcurrent protection device (OCPD) (fuse or circuit breaker), conductor size, and the electrical enclosure frame size and characteristics.

  • Power Calc PaK automatically calculates, and re-calculates for all changes, the following:

»  Size of Electrical Service

» Panelboard Frame Ampacity for both Copper (CU) and Aluminum (AL) Bus

» Panelboard Mains Rating

»  Building equipment: calculates the electrical requirements including HVAC equipment, compressors, elevators, escalators, and all other electrical equipment.
