What are the eNODE Worksheet(s)?

See Video 6.1: eNODE Worksheet

The eNODE Worksheet is where general information about the Project, such as the Project Name, Project No., Optional Feature(s), and Panelboard and Equipment Devices, is entered for global use throughout the Project’s workbook. The eNODE Worksheet maps the electrical power distribution system of the Project and aggregates the information from all worksheets included in the PROJECT FILE to indicate the electrical load by type, demand loads, transformer size, and connectivity. It lists the Electrical NODE(s) of the electrical power distribution system. Each Electrical NODE represents an electrical point of connection on the electrical power distribution grid. The eNODE Worksheet also tracks the energy usage and potential energy savings associated with each Panelboard in the power distribution system so the User can adjust the design to increase energy savings/reduce energy usage.

What are the Main Distribution Panelboard and Distribution Panelboard Worksheet(s)?

See Video 6.2:The Main Distribution Panelboard Worksheet

The MDP Worksheet and the DP Worksheet are summaries of the Project’s electrical power distribution system. The user sets up the electrical characteristics of the electrical power distribution system utilizing this sheet. The MDP Worksheet and the DP Worksheet each consist of 120 Electrical NODEs which automatically display the results and other relevant information when a particular Electrical NODE is activated by the User. The User can override Power Calc PaK’s automatic calculations for specific project requirements.

What are the Branch Circuit Panelboard Worksheet(s)?

The Branch Circuit Panelboard Worksheet(s) organize the electrical load requirements for a specific Project and displays the relevant standard industry information. The user first assigns each Branch Circuit Panelboard to a Distribution Panelboard and then inputs just three (3) electrical parameters: the electrical load in kVA, selects the number of Poles, and selects the electrical load type. Power Calc PaK then automatically calculates, and re-calculates for changes, the remaining Electrical Characteristics of the Electrical Circuits. The User can override the automatic calculations for specific project requirements.

What are the Building Equipment Worksheet(s)?

The Building Equipment Worksheet(s) organize the electrical load requirements for equipment such as the major HVAC mechanical equipment in the project. These sheets display the relevant and standard industry information in a format that allows it to be readily identified. A single and separate sheet is required for each piece of equipment used in the project. Power Calc PaK automatically calculates, and re-calculates for changes, the electrical requirements for the building equipment listed on each sheet. The User can override the automatic calculations for specific project requirements.

What are the Report(s)?

The Report(s) are the end result of the User’s input and Power Calc PaK’s output. The Report(s) are the electrical engineering design of the power distribution system in the building for the Panelboard and Building Equipment. The Report(s) display the information required by building officials for the installation of the power distribution system. The Report(s) can be printed or imported into AutoCAD drawings.
